About the Stolen Moans
The Stolen Moans are a genre-bending DIY trio making high-drama noise for the disenchanted and the defiant. Formed in the wreckage of past bands and broken systems, they stitch together punk, pop, metal, and cinematic synths into something raw, wry, and weirdly danceable.
Their debut album, Elbows Don’t Have Eyes, arrives on, July, 11, 2025. A 13-track trip (11 songs + 2 instrumentals) of heartbreak, vengeance, and rebirth, told through distortion, ritual, and riot grrrl spirit. From the haunted shimmer of “Morning Scars” to the Dada-fueled blitz of “Dada Catapult,” The Moans trade in sonic sabotage and soul exposure.
Since 2018, they’ve released an animated cult anthem about a power-hungry cat (“The King of Claws”), conjured garden gnomes and bad bosses, and shouted down systems with glittered fists. Their track “Our Song” became a battle cry, and their videos have taken home international awards, including Best Song (London Movie Awards) and Best Animated Music Video (LA Animation Festival).
Live, they’re all sweat, howl, and gravity. No filler. No genre loyalty. Just the mandate: it must Rock and Roll.
